  1. Don't get me wrong, I think GraphQL looks very interesting, but what I like about REST is that it's very simple and often self documenting.—

      I know that GraphQL is self documents through schemas—but so is SOAP. I see it like: humans can read REST. Computers can read SOAP.

        And humans, ones that appreciate things like sunlight, and not-having-headaches, don't tend to enjoy reading SOAP self documenting APIs…
