      Answer: my browser a11y font size was "normal", but my OS a11y font-size is "larger", which caused this *bug*. Which sucks.

        It sucks, because I should be able to have my OS bumped up, without the result of wrapping button text out of button. —

          —When I scrolled, it magically fixed itself (and it's already fixed in Canary), so I'm reading this as a Chrome for Android bug.

            Turns out this isn't a bug, there's 3 ways to increase font size. One in Chrome, two in the OS. Thank you to @dalemartyn87 for helping.
