  1. npm_support bit of a long shot, but is there any reason why npm would try to put git remote in /var/www?
    oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API

      npm_support oh, ignore me. I know why now. It's being run from the www-data user, and thus /var/www is it's $HOME.
