Sod. I *always* put off upgrading macOS and for some damn reason I upgraded today (figured it was when I wasn't working I could lose my machine for a big). Big mistake. As someone who dislikes having Apple specific software pushed upon them, Big Sur is not compatible with me.Permalink On twitter.com

First five minutes: I can't remove the apple notifications menu and Apple's clock. So they take up visual space in the top right. Also, oddly, typing this in Firefox is sluggish where as it wasn't before…On twitter.com

Yep, definitively some kind of bug in firefox and Big Sur. There's latency on typing (doesn't affect things like VS Code). Brand new Mac machine, new OS and yep, Apple breaks stuff. Yay…Permalink On twitter.com
