  1. BrendanEich my concern is that in 5+ years, sites will ship ES6+ syntax exclusively, and unless PE approach is used, the JS will fail hard.

      BrendanEich but this is the pessimist in me, but there's definitely a trend of (us) devs taking the easiest route.
