    1. Sure, it's over engineered, but I managed to make a ring light for my microscope with an attiny85 and a small bit of code.

    Update on my ring light. I used hot glue to hold the potentiometer *and* the led ring in place... Except the LEDs heat up with a lot of use, and of course the hot glue started to melt. 3D pen to the rescue. Manually sealed the LEDs in with the 3D pen and now it's super dooper.
