    1. I've just added "dom" to the array in compilerOptions.lib typescript config options, and our server logs are now spewing errors (for a UI package build). For me, it really doesn't inspire confidence. Being told that types add "safety" but tweak the config and suddenly (1/2)

    the same "safe" code is unsafe? (it's a legit change too… just, like I said, confidence in the tooling and messaging isn't particularly high) (2/2)
