        1. (More) electrical advice (though mostly safety this time). The lipo battery on the right is the original, but dead. I'm trying to install battery on the left, but it needs that bespoke connector (on the original). Would I be safe to remove the kapton tape, and desolder (1/2)

        the adapter? I'm very wary of getting into lipo batteries for fear of blowing the whole house up (the battery is 1.8cm x 1.8cm!) (2/2)

      Cheers for the replies folks - really useful ❣️ Might have found my work around. I wrongly identified the connection points before (seeing them leaving too little room to get wires attached), but the correct points have more room (now I've removed the pogo-like pins), and (1/2)
