      Simple to draw out the 2D lines, it's harder to find her 3D shape. Trying to find her face first, easy for me to muck it up though.

          One side is getting there. Other side looks like she's supposed to have a giant rabbit foot. And from the front is…looking a bit like Yogi Bear. Not intentional!

            The tools I'm using. I tend to sit all hunched over when I do this, so now after 4 hours my back is sore and my tummy gurgling.

              Not finished, but coming along. I spent some time sanding it to try and find some more shapes, which helped me.

                Trying to sort out the face, I always put the ears too far forward. The espresso martini is going to help, I'm sure of it.

                  Getting a bit more poised, but hoping sandpaper can bring out the features in the face that I've carved in (squint and you might see the nose). Also, lovely August golden light 💗

                      I'm calling this done. It's not perfect (or matches what I had in my head), but it's decent, and it was the mindfulness exercise I needed. She looks good from specific angles. Bees wax (and maybe some more sanding) another day.
