  1. Is there a way in css to put the shadow *behind* the text? i.e. so that "This talk" isn't covered, and "This is a nostalgic" isn't covered. I don't think I can, but worth asking…lots of people?!?! :)

        Cracked it. Can't be done with CSS (that I know of), solved with upper cut combo of JS + CSS (and works just fine without JS)
