gnclmorais hellogeri there's a LOT on youtube that's useful - particularly the vertical line fix that hellogeri mentions. If you're UK based, ebay is probably easiest starting place, if US, I keep seeing "I bought this for $11" so fleamarket/etc. A solder iron is needed, and if you want to fix –Permalink On twitter.com

gnclmorais hellogeri —power or sound issues, then a multimeter at the least. Oh, and probably a working reference gameboy is useful so you know how it's supposed to work. Horizontal lines are *very* hard to fix, and "screen cancer" (I hate that name) is near impossible (always on pixels).Permalink On twitter.com
