      nicolaschevobbe firefox I didn't know about this tool (and tried the regular devtools performance logger which didn't yield anything). Obviously (because…bugs) it's not replicating. I did just do a full shutdown of firefox and nuked all the tabs and reopened one at a time. –

    nicolaschevobbe firefox —would seem odd if another tab or window was affecting scroll performance on a page with no javascript (but I know browsers aren't simple code, so it's entirely possible). If I see this again, I'll use that tool, record and share. Thanks.
