Frontsideup I did a jsperf, new set is fastest (I suspect) with massive data sets - since it's going to be better optimised in v8 (as far as I understand). Interestingly, filter method is across the board best performing, and it's pretty clean: .filter(_,i,self) => self.indexOf(_)==i)
