        1. Honestly I enjoy using code as my editor, but I'm so fucking sick and tired of having to deal with this CPU hogging on a daily basis. Apparently tsserver.js is going ape shit. Ironic that I don't use TypeScript, but have inherited from some rando extension.

        code I really want to pick my laptop up and smash it across the table multiple times to stop this CPU hogging process. Literally can't work as it chews up CPU and memory (got to 1/2gig earlier).

      code I mean…all I want to do is write my code and get on with my job. Tools are great, but I hate myself for relying on them, and notepad is such a drop down (and I can't navigate vim efficiently)

    code And look at that. I run code 1.31.0 (Jan release) and there's no CPU spiking. And there was me worrying about dismissing an OS upgrade request.
