  1. Huh. This is interesting. The Vies online VAT lookup service, an EU service—used by sites to validate VAT IDs are registered—no longer supports United Kingdom europa.eu/youreurope/business/taxation/vat/check-vat-number-vies/index_en.htm (see "Online systems to check for VAT registration"). Sign of brexit, or something random…?

      Right-o, this could actually fall into the "random" category, and in fact be a temporary glitch. Odaeus pointed out to me that the table isn't vies support, but just whether county _has_ an online db (which I can see is right by testing other countries). As you were folks.
