    1. Curious: if you're a (web) developer (of any kind), do you know what "1's complement" is, and well enough to use it correctly?

    For the record, my answer was "no". Nor did I know 2's complement was (which is more relevant to our work), nor did I know about "signed magnitude" (which is fairly useless as far as I can see).
