  1. Couple of tiny differences I've noticed between the Pixel 3 and P1 (my previous phone): power button feels a touch cheeper (P1 has crosshatch metal, 3 feels like plastic). Speaker much louder, but vibrates against back of pixel. Back is a plastic finish vs metro feeling on the 1.

      Though a problem I had with the metallic finish on the Pixel 1 was that it made the phone slide out of my hand. Not sure how the P1 differs from the Pixel 2 though.
